Methane is a greenhouse gas like carbon dioxide, climate change is mainly due to an increase in the temperature of the planet. The theory of climate change, teaches that heat on earth originates mainly after the solar constant, due to a greenhouse effect, caused by greenhouse gases, which absorb and retain infrared energy (heat), so the problem of increasing of the temperature on the planet, it is described as a consequence of an increase in greenhouse gases, which increases the greenhouse effect (increases heat retention). The threat of methane for temperature rise, according to the theory of climate change, is due to the fact that human activity has increased the amount of methane in the atmosphere, contributing to climate change.
